Spools of Thread

                                                          Watercolors on 6" X 6" canvas
Done from The Rookie Painter challenge photo.

This is my first experiment to paint watercolors on canvas. I bought this paste a year ago and I just now used it to prime my linen canvas. The surface made me feel that I was painting acrylics, although all paints are watercolors. The fun thing is if you make a mistake, you can just wipe it off and re paint again. I've made a lot of mistakes because I had to rush rush for the deadline. I've got no time to fix my mess, but I will do so in spare time, which I wonder when!!! I'm taking a ceramics class right now, at the local university. No, we are not making pots nor bowls. It is more like sculptural items and I just love it. It is so much fun.

Thank you for looking. Any comment is greatly appreciated.

  2. The result is nice, Millie.I several tried watercolours, but stopped, because it didn't give me the pleasure I have with oils or acrylics, and I thought that you can't make a mistake, with this medium!
You are very creative. When are you going to show us you ceramic works?

    1. This is the first time I clicked the REPLY button, under your comment, Sylviane. I wonder if this new feature will notify you of my response. Thank you for the moral support. As for ceramics works, it is still early in the stage so nothing is finished for "show and tell". Thank you for asking.
