Japan in Agony

Watercolor
7" X 10"

I have lived through the shaking of the earth many times, but never really witnessed or seen on TV, anything like what had happened in Japan last March 11, Japan's time. Suddenly, I felt the urge to paint even though I was so busy.

Japan with her resilience will rise again. I wish the people of Japan the best and pray that their recovery will come, sooner than later.

  2. Très très belle oeuvre Millie que celle-ci... Une peinture remplie de dignité tout comme cette population japonaise...
    Une belle pensée...

  3. Millie this is a beautiful painting of a melancholy woman without any reference to the terrible events in Japan. WITH those events in mind it is doubly melancholy. :-(

Thank you for making this painting while I've been trying without success to express my sorrow in paint.
